She believes in supporting clients in a collaborative manner, honoring that each client is a unique individual, who is an expert on their own life. They are a reflection of the life situations, choices, goals, values and actions that have been a part of the life they have lived.
“I believe counseling is a process as unique as each individual. It is a journey of empowerment where I, as a counselor, assist people in eliminating or shifting the limiting or negative patterns and behaviors that get in the way of being their best self. I use many modalities, including Brainspotting, as tools to access those beliefs that are ‘stuck’ in our brain and body.”
Deb believes that the counseling process is a Journey of Grace, since she feels honored by the presence of each person and their individual journey.
