An additional area of interest includes working with children on issues that surface around school, anxiety, stress and self-esteem. She works with ages 10 and up, adolescents, adults and couples.

Deb is passionate about working with clients as they journey to be the best version of themselves. She believes in supporting clients in a collaborative manner, honoring that each client is a unique individual, who is an expert on their own life. They are a reflection of the life situations, choices, goals, values and actions that have been a part of the life they have lived.

“I believe counseling is a process as unique as each individual. It is a journey of empowerment where I, as a counselor, assist people in eliminating or shifting the limiting or negative patterns and behaviors that get in the way of being their best self. I use many modalities, including Brainspotting, as tools to access those beliefs that are ‘stuck’ in our brain and body.”

Deb believes that the counseling process is a Journey of Grace, since she feels honored by the presence of each person and their individual journey.
